Cisco Releases Good Results

Cisco Systems Inc. helped to boost tech companies in general today, as it released results for its fiscal first quarter ended October 24, 2009. Net income excluding items was US$0.36 a share, beating the US$0.31 analysts had forecast. Cisco’s revenues of US$9.02B also topped the US$8.74B that was expected.
